Maori Language Commission

The Wellington workplace for the Māori Language Commission provides a functional and thoughtfully designed office environment that supports collaboration and day-to-day operations.

The objective of the project was to create a practical and cohesive workplace that supports staff productivity while providing comfortable spaces for both individual work and team interaction.

BFG were engaged to supply and install a comprehensive furniture solution tailored to the organisation’s operational needs, ensuring the workspace remained flexible, efficient, and aligned with the overall interior design.

Working closely with the project team, we delivered a full furniture package across the workplace. This included workstations and task seating designed to support daily desk-based work, alongside meeting tables and seating for formal discussions and collaborative sessions.

To support informal interaction and breakout activity, café tables and seating and collaborative tables were also incorporated throughout the space. In addition, we supplied office storage solutions, lockers, and soft furnishings to ensure the workplace remained organised, comfortable, and visually cohesive.

Throughout the project, our focus was on delivering furniture solutions that balanced practicality with design consistency across the entire office.

The completed workplace provides a balanced and effective office environment that supports the organisation’s day-to-day operations.

Through the integration of workstations, meeting spaces, collaboration areas, and storage solutions, BFG helped create a cohesive workplace that promotes productivity, flexibility, and comfort for staff.
